NCE technicians must gain knowledge through field and classroom experience to meet NETA’s qualification requirements. Technicians must pass NETA supplied examinations to receive certification. The exams test the vast range of knowledge a top technician would gain through the programs supplied by both NETA and NCE. To maintain active certification, technicians must continuously receive training and obtain continuing education credits.
